When we got there we parked after circling the school once in the parking structure and took the elevator up to the foundation office. There we walked down the hall and to the admissions window. After a slightly confusing conversation with the clerk she told us that the papers we needed to pick up were to be mailed to us. This was frustrating because we had called the day before and they had told us to pick them up.

On our way down Ivan complained about how it's rude and very intruding to just randomly pop in for a visit at Lawrence's house with out any kind of warning. So I texted Lawrence to let him know we were coming, but he did not reply. Next we tried calling and he didn't answer, but we proceeded onward to his house because we wanted to make the long trip out to El Segundo worth while.
We got out of the car and of course Ivan was stalling still complaining about how if he were living away from home he wouldn't like it when people randomly came over to visit with out any kind of warning. But sure enough all three of us were at his door ringing Lawrence's door bell. Lawrence answered the door with a confused but happy look and Christine jumps up and gives him a big hug. Then it was my turn to give Lawrence a hug then Ivan. We talked a little and decided to go to Santa Monica to get some lunch/dinner and something hot to drink. Lawrence need to change so we waited in the living room and watched T.V. and Played with his Mac laptop and took goofy pictures.
We left Lawrence's house and all got in my car again and drove down all the way down Lincoln through Venice Beach and into the heart of Santa Monica. We parked and went in search of an It's A Grind coffee shop. Of course we side tracked and explored 4th street. After walking around aimlessly we stopped to buy some subway to eat at It's A Grind, but when we got there, there were no more seatss availble. So we bought our drinks and headed to a Vegitarian/Vegan Reastruant. We went in carrying our "out side food" clearly in the open and the seated us upstairs in a tight corner. We looked through the menu and was interrupted by the hostest and was told that we couldnt have non-vegan food/drinks in the restrant. Why would they seat us if they saw us with outside food if they knew no outside food was allowed?
So Lawrence ordered as we stood outside waiting in the cold. Why would vegans throw out people into the cold when all we were doing was ording food from them and respecting their choice of lifestyle? I thought vegan believed in equality among all living things, arnt humans living things too? Anyways, we left and just went back to 4th street where we ate near Subway.
After we wondered around some more and watched some break dancers do there street performance in the freezing cold. We had wanted to leave but we stayed because little Christine liked the show and was having fun. The night was getting late so we decided to call it a day and headed back to my car. We went into the parking sturcture and up the elevator and we we got out my car was no where in sight! I began to get worried that my car might have been towed or worst, stolen. But after getting a quick look around we realized we were in the wrong parking structure. So back down the elevator and back on the street we walked 2 more blocks and round the right on and ended our day with some easy listening music as I drove everyone home.
